The Genetix genetic counselling team participated in the 15th Asia-Pacific Conference on Human Genetics (APCHG) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, joining regional experts in discussions on advances in genomic medicine and genetic counselling practice.
During the conference, Ms Yoon Sook Yee, Head of Genetic Counselling, spoke on the importance of professional collaboration in advancing genetic counselling standards in Malaysia, while Genetic Counsellor Ms Claudia Richard presented on ethical considerations in hereditary cancer counselling.
Participation in regional forums such as APCHG allows Genetix to contribute to ongoing dialogue on strengthening genetic services and patient care across the Asia-Pacific region.
